X-VPN - Free VPN Proxy| Unblock Sites&Privacy

Review

These days, encryption and online security are more relevant than ever. Whether you want to protect your online privacy, change your virtual location or increase your WiFi speed – you know that using a VPN is the best solution. And this X-VPN app has it all, so let’s check it out!

Design 5/5

Personally, I like the design of this VPN app. It’s neat and moderate, and there is nothing to distract you from your main goal – getting a fast and secure Internet connection. The clean interface is easy to learn and navigate, and with a tap of the connect button, you’re using a VPN.

I’ll give X-VPN a solid 5 for its design and interface as there is nothing to pick on. Anyway, I don’t think that the design of such an app is a deal-breaker. This VPN app has lots of useful features that deserve our attention above all else.

Content and Features 5/5

X-VPN allows you to surf the Internet securely and privately. There are 8 protocols to choose from and more than 5 thousand servers around 90+ global locations. Pretty impressive for me! The app sets the fastest servers for you automatically, and you can check them out with the run speed test.

The X-VPN app gives you several security tools such as Kill Switch, DNS Leak Test, IP checker, and more. When Kill Switch is on, all Internet will be disabled if X-VPN disconnects. The test tool helps to check whether you have a DNS leak or not. Finally, you can check your IP information in details after connecting to the X-VPN app.

What’s even more important, the user privacy policy is very strict. You can find detailed information about it on the app’s page on Play Market and AppStore – it seems that the X-VPN team is committed to protecting their users’ privacy.

User Experience 3/5

I like everything about this app except it being not free. Of course, there are lots of ads, but I guess we’ve got used to them to a certain extent. The main shortcoming is that there are almost no free servers now. Before the last updates, many of them were free and fast, connecting you in less than a minute. The X-VPN servers were great to use on free WiFi networks, school networks, and to secure your data all around. Now it takes up to 5 minutes to connect to a server. It’s still a great VPN app, but if the speed and the price matter to you – you may question its profit.

Compatibility 5/5

As I mentioned earlier, you can download X-VPN from Google Play Store or App Store. It requires Android 4.1 or later (iOS 8.0 or later). The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and all devices on Android. There is a PC version as well, so your personal data can be secured all around.

Conclusion

All in all, X-VPN is a good enough app for protecting your data when surfing the Internet. It does provide you with lots of useful features, and if they were free, the app would have been so much better. So, if you’re willing to pay for your security and relatively fast connection – go for X-VPN.
